Thanks to the RAC's European Rescue service for their help after my car broke down in France.
An unusually rare act of vandalism overnight in a hotel car park in central France earlier this month rendered my car inoperative and obliged me to call on the services of RAC European Recovery. I cannot speak highly enough of the outstanding service I received after just one phone call. The car was promptly recovered to a local garage where I was advised they could not repair it quickly, and shortly after a taxi collected me and drove me a considerable distance to pick up a hire car arranged by the RAC. I used this until dropping it off at the Port of Calais from where I travelled as a foot passenger to Dover and collected another hire car, arranged by the RAC, for my onward journey home. A few days later my car was repatriated by the RAC and arrived at my home unscathed, and has now been repaired locally. I highly commend the service I received and should like to extend my appreciation to all those involved.

That's three accolades for RAC European Rescue within the past couple of weeks. So must be doing a good job.
