In soft snow, Autosocks will help you get moving. But they have to be removed as soon as you reach a solid road surface. You could compromise with an all-weather tyre with the mountains or snowflake symbol, but they won't be quite as good as winter tyres in winter, nor as good as standard tyres in summer.
