Why are my Hyundai Getz's windscreen wipers juddering at slow and medium speed?
I have a 2003 Hyundai 1.3 GS Getz. It always passes its MOT, the last being in September, twice. I have had new wiper blades fitted but seem unable to overcome the juddering and graunching when using the intermittent or slow speed. In heavy rain they are quiet. The noise applies to both the front and rear windows. Please advise me how to overcome the problem.

This might be due to a build-up of gluey hydrocarbons on the screens. Another reader recommended Cif household cleaner to clean screens, but you MUST be very careful not to get any on the paintwork or it could take off the paint.
