Bad seats mean I need to sell my Avensis

My wife and I have an '07 Diesel Toyota Avensis 2.2. The front passenger seat is not adjustable for lumbar reshape and seat flatness, but only back tilt and seat height. Is it possible to have a fully adjustable seat made and fitted?

My wife has chronic lower back and hip pain and different kinds of back cushions and sorbo rubber hollow seat fillers don't always ease pain. The ability to adjust a seat to overcome prevailing problems would be better.

Any suggestions please? Should I extend warranty and fit a seat or buy a car where both front seats are fully adjustable.

Buy a car in which both seats are fully adjustable. Making modifications like this can cost thousands and can be detrimental to the value of the car.

Might be better to look at something more uprights, such as a Meriva: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/vauxhall/vauxhall-.../

Or the new C-Max:

Or the new Toyota Verso S:
