Is buying a SAAB a bad idea?

I'm contemplating buying a 2008 SAAB 9-3 Aero 180 TTiD sportswagen (55k FSSH) for £10k. Given SAABs current plight - is this now a risky buy?

The car is great, but I'm worried about spending £10K now and being in negative equity if prices crash, as per Rovers demise....

Very risky. You can buy a warranty from www.warrantydirect.co.uk But that won't help you if the parts are unavailable. And the thought of that engine under my bonnet actually scares me.
