Winter Tyres on a 5 Series

Following the press coverage of the importance of winter tyres I have researched the options for my BMW 520d efficiency dynamics (F10 2010). BMW offer wheels and tyres starting at £1800. Kwik fit offer the same tyres (but no wheels) with a free change and storage service for just under £1000, but presumably charge for balancing and valves on each change. The web-sites you have listed in your Honest John site generally don't have wheels for this model of BMW. Have you any further suggestions for resolving this in the most cost effective way. Dunlop winter tyres were the basis for the above prices.

You could go to a different wheel size and non runflats via the BMW dealer.
