Which estate car?

Please help my husband and I decide on a used estate. We keep going back and forth.

We are looking for an estate car for around £9000. Hubbie is a car snob so won't consider a Ford or a Skoda - so we're looking at Audi A4, BMW 3 series, Volvo V50, and Volkswagen Passat.
