Tyre sizes - what weight and speed do I need?

Our Golf 1.6 fsi petrol has non standard 17" wheels fitted from new. The fronts need replacing but none of the tyres (Dunlop) give any more info than 225, 45, 17. Do you know the speed/weight rating. It doesn't say in the car documents and I don't want to infringe any insurance clauses.
