Buying a new 4x4 - which one?

Am thinking of changing my 56 X-Trail which I have had from new. Except for having to have two new brake calipers, I have been very pleased with it. Am considering another X-Trail, but have looked at a Freelander too. Which is best?

Handsome looks and plenty of kit, Mitsubishi chain cam 2.3 DI-D engine is excellent. 5 seats + 2 child seats. Very competent off-road with 4WD. Also available with 2WD.
