Yeti gearbox problem

My new Skoda Yeti 1.2 automatic keeps shudderring when travelling under 30 mph and indicates that it is in 6th or 7th gear. The dealership says there is nothing wrong with it. Has anyone else had this proble, is it a common fault?

It is obviously trying to run in to high a gear. Mechatronics fault.
