Chevrolet Matiz engine problem

March 07 Matiz SE 1.0 10K miles. Engine management light came on and it's firing intermittently. Coil failure diagnosed - replaced. Still firing unevenly but less so and warning light not on.

New coil diagnosed as faulty & replaced. Running OK for couple of weeks; then light came on and it started misfiring again. However, next day light not on and no more misfiring.

Any ideas please on what cause could be if it is not yet another faulty coil?

Would suggest that you first check for any air leaks on intake system, then check the plug leads ( are they tracking) if you check at night time with the engine running you may see the tracking then.
If ok then would suggest that you check the wiring to the injectors and or the injectors themselves.
