Event Tyres

Dear HJ

We discovered a puncture on one of the run flat tyres of my partner's BMW 320 this morning.

As we were having trouble finding one in stock locally I thought we would contact Event Tyres as you always give them good reviews. When we phoned them I was rather surprised to be told rather abruptly that even if they did have them in stock they were fully booked up until Tuesday. As today is Saturday and we phoned before 10:00 a.m. I was less than impressed.

Is this the service we should expect from this company?

In the end we contacted a very helpful person at Micheldever Tyres in Micheldever, Hampshire who could either repair the puncture or replace it this morning.

Best regards

Rick

It's the service you can expect from a company that is fully booked up until Tuesday. Nothing it can do about that except replace another customer with you, which the other customer would not like very much. Remember, Event Tyres comes to you. Micheldever is excellent but you have to go to them, and there can be a long queue.
