Most economical car a for 160 mile daily commute
In the new year I will be starting a 160 round mile commute daily, so over 3k miles a month. Approx 30 miles of this will be motorway, the rest fast A roads. I need a super-economical sub £2k car that can get me there and back reliably each day for the least amount of outlay but that isn't a pain at motorway speeds. Residuals are not an issue as after 2 years, I expect the car to be worthless.

Try to find a SEAT Ibiza or Skoda Fabia 1.9TDI 90.
