Faulty SL55 AMG

We purchased an SL55 6 years ago & paid £67,000.

Since then the car has had numerous problems and we have only driven it 20,000 miles as the engine cuts out locking the car and nearly causing a fatal accident.

We have been locked into a dispute with the Brentford Mercedes dealership for them to fob us off. Now we have ben told by the GM at Brooklands that he will give us £30,000 to buy the car back with no apology or investigation as to why the car is faulty.

In 6 years 20,000 miles plus constant repairs totally nearly £5,000.

Do we have a case? This complaint has been been logged with head office however they have failed to provide other alternatives.

Probably not and if you take the matter to court MB will back the dealer against you and you could lose a lot more. One reader won his case but still lost £20,000 in addition to having his car returned to him wrecked.
