Should I buy a Ford Kuga PHEV?

As the Ford Kuga PHEV is subject to a recall for a high voltage battery issue with no fix yet, would you avoid buying or perhaps use as a bargaining tool?

Purchasing a vehicle with an outstanding recall carries an element of risk, but does mean there is the potential for getting a bargain if there are owners who are looking to sell their cars. We would expect Ford to provide a solution for the issue within a few months, so it is a matter of balancing the potential risks against the possible savings.
