Why do some cars still have drum brakes?
Why does Ford offer the Puma 1.0 with drum brakes, small front disc brakes, while it's so much expensive even for the 125hp version? Also the square steering wheel looks uncomfortable, ugly and not good to handle.

Drum brakes are still commonplace on the rear of non-performance vehicles because few vehicles need the additional stopping power provided by rear discs. Modern front disc brakes are sized according to the performance and weight of the vehicle. We would suggest test driving the Puma yourself to see if you are comfortable with the steering wheel design - it is slightly squared off in order to provide a clear view of the digital instrument display.
