Why do the brake lights illuminate when I press the clutch pedal?
I have a 2006 Citroen Picasso and the brake lights come on when pressing the clutch pedal. What's wrong?

It most likely indicates a faulty clutch pedal switch, which is likely interfering with the brake light switch due to their close proximity. This means the switch is registering pressure even when you're not pressing the brake pedal, causing the brake lights to illuminate when you press the clutch.
