Which tyres for a Kuga?

My Ford Kuga 162ps Powershift is currently running on the factory fitted Continental ContiPremium Contact 2 235/50 R 18 tyres.
At speed on certain surfaces these tyres transmit quite a lot of noise into the cabin of what is, otherwise, a quiet car.

I'm wondering if you have knowledge of a tyre I could replace them with which would be inherently less noisy the the Conti's?

Michelins might be better. Pirelli Scorpions are good if you can get the size. The real problem is the 18" wheels and 50 profiles. 17" wheels and 55 profile tyres would be more comfortable.
