Buying a decent looking family car
I've spent years driving MPVs (very functional but...) - Xsara Picasso, Grand Scenic etc. I'd really like to drive something a bit more car-like but that's still got a decent amount of boot space (don't mind a "sportwagon") and room across the back for 3 growing kids (aged 8 to 15). My budget's only small - maybe £8000 roughly? I've looked at Insignias, 307SWs and so on but haven't been inspired. Any ideas?

A 307SW is the nicest drive offering 3 across the back seating.
