Changing brake pads

I know how to change the pads on a Fiesta 2007 model, just wondering if its still safe to push the pistons back using a g-clamp, as some people have described.

I used to do it on the old models, is it still ok to do it or does the diaphragm fold back on itself like in the Opels/ Vauxhalls?

You should be able to push the pistons back ok. Remember to remove the filler cap from the resevior and watch out for excessive fluid returning (overflowing)
