Do I still need a paper copy of the MoT?
I took a personalised registration off a car and have been sent a new log book but not a new MoT certificate. Is that normal? Do I need a new paper MoT as it shows on DVLA records as having a current MoT?

MoT certificates are usually issued by the testing garage so you would not necessarily receive a new one automatically, but you can obtain a replacement from any MoT station if you supply the vehicle registration and V5C, or get a replacement for free directly from the DVLA here - www.gov.uk/replacing-lost-damaged-mot-certificate
From May 2024 onward, paper MoTs have only been issued on request for environmental reasons and it is no longer a legal requirement to have a paper copy.
