Focus slips out of gear

My Focus auto slips out of gear when, say, between 2nd and 3rd, and as i still have my foot on the accelerator it over revs and then kicks into gear again.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Sticking servo valve in the valve box. Member of www.fedauto.co.uk can fix.
