Ford Fiesta - which engine?
I'm looking for a Ford Fiesta model with 'lowest overall cost of ownership' to commute 100 miles per day on mix of A & B roads (little city or motorway travel). Considering Ford Fiesta in either 1.4 TDCi or 1.6 TDCi Econetic form; which will be most cost-effective - given lower cost of buying the former but potentially higher running costs I would intend to retain the car for some years.

Better the 1.6 TDCI. The 1.4 is an older engine.
