Too many owners!
We purchased a used Jeep Commander from a main dealer about 6 weeks ago. We asked at the time how many owners it had and were told that they had just collected it from another dealer who had taken it as trade in, implying one previous owner I thought!
When the V5 came through it turns out that it had 4 previous owners, making me the 5th! I am concerned that as it is a 57 reg should I decide to sell it many buyers and traders will be put off!
The salesman at the dealership said he did not realise it had so many owners but would provide a letter to any future purchaser explaining the history. I am very concerned that we have an unsaleable car.
Should the dealership do more, even give us some money back?

No. What the dealer is doing is fine.
