Do I need anti rattle springs?

My Honda Jazz 67 reg had near side rear brake calliper and pads replaced in January 2024. I took car to Honda main dealer garage to replace battery on an unrelated matter. Main dealer reported that the anti rattle pins was missing. I took car back to the garagewhodidthereplacement work. The manager looked at both near side and offside .H e told me there was no indication that there had ever been anti rattle springs and that they were not needed.

I would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Thanks

If anti-rattle springs are fitted from the factory we would suggest that they should be replaced or renewed as required. Although the garage you used suggested they were not previously fitted or required, we would be more inclined to take the word of the main dealer.
