Which car i will keep, Nissian Almera 2.2 or Vauxhall astra 1.6
I have Nissan Almera 2.2D sport (52 reg 84,000 miles). But it failed its MOT and I had to spend £900 to fix it.
It took 3 months to fix. I bought it for £1,200 and after that I changed the cam chain (used) and Cam Chain Cover. Thar cost almost £700.
I have spent £2,000 pound till now to fix the problems. In the first 4 months of ownership I faced problem three times.
When the Almera failed its MOT I bought a Vauxhall Astra 1.6 (02 reg plate). It is running fine for last four months but its MOT is also due and I need to change its cam belt.
I want to sell a car. Please advise me which car to sell?

This is the problem with cheap cars. They are cheap for a reason, and buying them can cost you money. Can sometimes be better to take out finance and buy something newer just to get out of the trap of cars more than 7 years old that can cost more to repair than they are worth.
