How much of a car is required to register it?

How much of a vehicle has to be there to register it? I have not got it all and the marque isn't on the DVLA system.

The requirements for registering a vehicle depend on the status of the vehicle itself, as the rules vary depending on whether the vehicle is a kit car, substantially altered, rebuilt or an old vehicle. You can view the process for these various options on the DVLA website here: www.gov.uk/vehicle-registration
