Clutching at straws

I have just had the clutch replaced in my Peugeot 206, 1.6 XS, but the problem is that now the new clutch has been fitted it now jumps when trying to move it. The clutch jumps and then the car stalls.

Could you help me and tell me what u think the problem could be? And if the problem is with the new clutch that has been put in, the gearbox or the clutch cable?

Who actually replaced the clutch, as it sounds as though they have not ensured it is working correctly. have you gone back to them and asked them to check it out.
Intial thoughts are the clutch cable.
