Euro what?

I have bought a Renault Megane dci 130 registered end December 2010. How can I tell if it is manufactured as Euro 4 or 5, please?

That engine was originally EU4:

1.9 dCi 130 belt cam diesel manual: 0-60 9.2 seconds; top speed 127mph; combined consumption 50.4mpg CO2 emissions 134g/km (VED Band C 2008/09 £120, Band E 2009/10 £110) EU4. BIK 18%, IG 9E.

But if it's the new 1.6dCi 130 it will be EU5:

24-4-2009. New high-volume production 1.6 dCi (R9M type) diesel is an efficient, streamlined engine that respects the environment. Designed by the Renault-Nissan Alliance, the 1.6 dCi is intended to replace the current 1.9 dCi diesel engine as part of Renault’s engine downsizing strategy. The strategy is about reducing engine capacity, CO2 emissions and fuel consumption, while delivering the same performance through turbocharging. The new engine will offer 130hp at launch, the same power output as the current 1.9 dCi, but with 30 g/km less CO2 emissions and 20% more fuel economy. The new engine will equip passenger cars in the C segment – in particular the Mégane family – and the D segment, as well as LCVs in the Renault line-up. It will also fit Nissan models.
