Do I need beam converters for driving in France?

Does a Ford focus Titanium X Edition 2018 with LED headlights need headlamp deflectors for driving in France or can I adjust them in settings? Can’t find the answer in the vehicle handbook.

The specific requirements can vary depending on the specification of your vehicle, but if your headlights produce a flat beam rather than the older style 'kick-up' that illuminates the left-hand-side of the road, no adjustment should be necessary. Some versions of the Focus are fitted with adaptive LEDs which give you the option to change the pattern for left-hand-drive or right-hand-drive, but if your model is not fitted with adaptive LEDs then beam deflectors are likely to be required.
