Should I buy a used car warranty?
I have seen privately for sale a 2020 Mini Cooper classic, 1.5 petrol, 3 door with just under 20,000 miles. There is a FSH and until this February it was all Mini. The car computer shows this. The February one was a small garage. The car seems excellent. The seller wants £11,500 which is not too bad, possibly a wee bit high.
There is no warranty and this makes me hestitate. My local garage has had problems with Minis and urges caution.
Any suggestions for a relaible warranty bought on line? A trader advised me somemof them are hardly worth it.

The MINI warranty period on petrol and diesel vehicles is three years and unlimited mileage, so a 2020 example would have passed this period. You can read out guide to used car warranties here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/advice/running-costs/car-warr.../
