My automatic Polo does not creep forward when I come off the brakes, is there something wrong?

I have a 2015 automatic VW Polo TSI. I have noticed when I am stationary and in Drive that the car is not rolling forward like my old auto used too do. I spoke to a mechanic which said it’s something to do with the clutch in the gearbox. He said it’s nothing to worry about but I am worried that it may get worse if I leave like that. Can you tell me how much to rectify this if I go ahead and if it’s worth doing?

Your Polo is equipped with a dual-clutch gearbox, and unlike older torque converter automatics it does not 'creep' forward when in gear and the brakes are not applied, so this is not something to be concerned about.
