What do you suggest as a replacement for an ageing Vauxhall Zafira?

I am having difficulty finding an alternative to my ageing Vauxhall Zafira. They have been a versatile and practical workhorse for many years and I am looking for something with similar versatility. I am no longer towing, so a smallish petrol engine would be fine, preferably automatic. Seven seats are not essential. I look forward to your suggestions for a second hand replacement produced in the last 2-3 years.

We'd recommend a Dacia Jogger. It's a versatile family car that represents excellent value for money. It's available with efficient petrol or hybrid engines. If you'd prefer a more conventional people carrier, take a look at the Volkswagen Touran with the 1.5 TSI engine and DSG automatic gearbox.

It's a genuine bargain. Seven seats as standard. A big boot if used as a five-seater. Frugal 1.0-litre engine plus excellent hybrid. Dacia performs well in the Honest John Satisfaction Index.
