Can I use the spare tyre from my previous Mazda CX-3 on my new CX-30?

I recently exchanged my 2019 Mazda CX-3 Sports Nav for a new Mazda CX-30 SkyactiveX. I retained the full size 18” spare wheel from the CX-3 fitted with a 215/50R18 tyre. It fits the studs and fits into the boot well. the CX-30 runs on 215/55R18 tyres. Would this wheel be suitable in the event of a puncture?

The CX-3 and CX-30 share the same hub bore size, bolt pattern and thread size, so the spare wheel from your CX-3 will fit your CX-30. The only difference is that the 18-inch wheels available on the CX-30 are either fitted with 215/55R18 or 235/50R18 tyres, so the aspect ratio will not match the rest of your tyres, so we would suggest it is used as a temporary spare only.
