Can I get over the air software updates?
Can a reputable local garage do software updates? I read somewhere about "over air" updates where you are not tied to a main dealer.

Individual garages will be able to confirm if they can offer software updates, as this will depend on the vehicle you own and the facilities available at the garage. Independent garages that specialise in a particular manufacturer are more likely to offer this service.
Over the air updates is a more recent feature for vehicles that have a dedicated data connection, this is not a function that is available for older vehicles or one that can be retro-fitted.
