Do disabled parking bays have a maximum kerb height?

Are you aware of any guidance for the maximum height of a kerb adjacent to a disabled parking bay?

Government legislation dictates the location, frequency and size of disabled parking bays both in terms of on-street parking and private car parks, but unfortunately that does not extend to a maximum kerb height surrounding the bay. If you are a regular user of a disabled bay with a kerb surrounding it that causing difficulties you may wish to contact the owner of the car park or the local council.
