Pierburg 2e carb

I have removed my Pierburg 2e carb to clean but when I opened the carb I noticed that some kind of gasket was split and needs replacing, but having trouble finding this part. Would be grateful if you could me what kind of gasket it is and where I could buy a new one.

I would have thought that it is a paper gasket. Have you tried just going to your local VW dealership? In their parts department they should have diagram of the said carb, which should then show your gasket.
