Corrosion on a four-year-old VW Phaeton
I have experienced my second bout of corrosion on my four-year-old old VW Phaeton, this time on the wing mirror housing. VW have refused my claim on the grounds that the wing mirror is not part of the vehilce. Is this reasonable?

No, completely ridiculous. Of course it is part of the vehicle. If it is not part of the vehicle what is it doing there?
