Is my Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 compatable with E5 petrol?
Could you please advise if E5 would be suitable for my 2011 Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 petrol?
I have been using E10 fuel but am getting problems with the engine management light appearing (usually after I've filled up with E10). E5 fuel seems to have the same EN rating as E10 but I wonder if it could cause any damage as the car is most certainly not high performance

Yes, your Corsa is perfectly able to run on E5 fuel - it won't cause any damage and the detergents in the premium fuel may well help clear any carbon buildup in the fuel system. Regarding E10, there are studies looking into its effect on so-called 'compatible cars' (your car is technically compatible). Officially it should have no effect on compatible cars, but anecdotally we're hearing of more stories of issues apparently seeming to stem from regular E10 use.
