How much for a 2005 Ford SportKa?

My daughter wants to sell her good condition Ford SportKa 55-plate 50k miles. What's it worth in part exchange? With this as a deposit she can afford up to £10k to buy a five-door hatch. She wants something which is economical, but comfortable(she drives about 70 mls per day).

She is thinking Fiesta or Focus. Which models would you recommend? Anything else she should consider, either new or up to a year old?

Not much. Trade books at just £2,175. I'd go for a Mazda 2 1.3TS2 (specifically that model). Low CO2, more fun to drive than a Fiesta, and cheaper.
