Will charging my PHEV to 100 per cent every day damage the battery?
I have just taken delivery of my Kia Niro PHEV. I have a wallbox charger and intend to top up the battery each night so I have 100 per cent charge for local trips. Will this damage the battery?

We don't recommend topping up your battery to 100 per cent on a daily basis if you intend to keep your vehicle for several years. Lithium-ion batteries are happiest being left at between 20-80 per cent charge, and regularly discharging the battery to zero or holding it at 100 could increase the degradation of the battery.
We're not talking about much here, maybe a 1-2 per cent degradation in range per year, but fully charging the battery once a week rather than every day will help keep it healthy.
