Should I replace brake discs before my next MoT?

I have a 64 reg Hyundai i10. On the last MoT in August last year there was an advisory which said that both rear brake discs were ' pitted or scored but not seriously weakened'. Mileage then was 24,000-plus I have only done about 1,000 since then to date. Do you think the discs would need replacing before the next MoT?

It reads like the brakes are suffering from corrosion due to lack of use.

Brake discs are exposed metal and if you leave the car standing for long periods outside in the elements then they will rust. You can prevent damage by driving the car regularly (with the rust being cleaned off the disc as you apply the brakes). However, if the corrosion has already eaten into the metal and pitted the surface then they may need replacing.

The brakes will be inspected as part of the annual service, so it may be wise to have this done before the MoT so you can assess the condition of the brakes.

My car passed an MoT in early June this year. Six weeks later a main dealership inspected it (as part of service) and told me the front 2 brake discs were both 90% worn. I probably did less than 200 miles...
If my car passed its MoT but has pitted and scored brake discs, is this supposed to be on my certificate as an advisory?
