My car is older than advertised - can I reject it?
I have just bought a used car from an Audi dealership. At the time, I believed it to be eight months old; however, on inspection of the paperwork, I have now discovered that the car had actually been manufactured in December 2020, so had presumably sat in the dealership for nine months prior to registration. The V5 shows that car as being manufactured in 2021.
None of this was declared to me by the dealer. I feel that I have been misled. Can I reject the vehicle for a full refund?

The Covid-19 pandemic and its (many) lockdowns resulted in thousands of cars being held in storage. I do not think this is something to be concerned about. The car will have undergone various inspections before it was delivered to its first keeper and then yourself.
Unless the salesperson promised to sell you a car built in 2021, I do not think you have valid grounds to reject it. But if you are truly unhappy then the dealer may be willing to buy it back or exchange it for something else.
