Over 70 driving licence renewal - when will I get a response?

I am over 70 and applied to renew my driving licence in April 2021 - I have not had a reply.

There have been long delays on paper applications for over 70s licence renewals. The DVLA is currently processing applications from October so in theory yours should have been processed. However, renewal applications can be delayed for a number of reasons (e.g. documents missing). I would suggest contacting the DVLA to check they have received your application.
