Should I buy a nearly new car that's been sitting for six months?

I've found a nearly new car for sale but it has been in the manufacturer's compound for six months. Will this car give me lot of problems? Or should I request a brand new order and wait for it to arrive?

A brand new order could take a while due to high demand and the semi-conductor shortage. A new vehicle that's been stored for six months should be fine, provided it's comprehensively checked ahead of delivery. All main dealers will carry out a pre-delivery inspection and any safety issues will be spotted at this point.
