Four into two
I have a bad back and took your advice seven years ago to buy a Renault Vel Satis at a discount. The only V6 diesel sold in England I would think. A wonderful car for me. For shopping I use my second Smart Car. It is high, wide-door, auto and everything works. Now I must share with mum, two infants buggy etc. Any advice? Low tax, better MPG auto. I find the Smart fortwo Mk 2 greatly improved. But I don't like ride and lack of transmission braking. New or second hand replacement considered. Your advice much appreciated.

You can get four into a Toyota IQ and it comes with a decent CVT auto. But, more realistically, a Hyundai i10 1.2 Comfort auto, a Suzuki Splash 1.2 auto, or a Vauxhall Agila 1.2 auto.
