The ABS warning light is on. Will this cause performance issues?

The ABS and anti-traction control warning lights are illuminated. Will this cause performance problems?

If the warning light is on and suggesting a malfunction then the car will fail the MoT. The ABS and traction control issues may also affect the car's performance. I would suggest taking it to a garage for a diagnostics check - this will provide a fault code(s) that will identify the problem.
