Is there a midsize SUV with 3 full seats in the back?
My budget is about £10k. I currently have a 2011 Peugeot 5008 but it's underpowered. I want an SUV with 3 full seats but not a 7-seater. However, they seem seldom to come by. I was looking at a Mitsubishi Outlander as seem quite kitted out. What would you suggest? I do a 25-mile round trip every day and usual weekend travel here and there. I've always gone for diesel as they have better mpg, cheaper to tax and I like the pull, however, I wouldn't discount petrol if it made sense. Please advise, thank you.

You'll struggle to find a decent example of an SUV with three separate rear seats at this price point. We'd recommend sticking with a people carrier. A Volkswagen Touran would be a good choice. It's a very smart and versatile car, with three individual rear seats. Look for one with the 2.0 TDI engine for punchy performance, although (like all modern diesels) it needs regular motorway runs to prevent issues with a blocked diesel particulate filter (DPF).
