I have returned to the UK after living in France for several years with a French registered car. Is there an alternative to taking it back to France to sell it? It would be useful to trade it in for a RHD in the UK. I believe there was a dealer in Portsmouth who provided such a service at one time. Does it still exist and are there other options?

You're in luck. Because of the poor rate of Sterling against the Euro, LHD cars have become expensive to source in the UK so prices are up. Try: www.lhdplace.co.uk; www.midland-lhd.co.uk; www.oakleaf.net; www.londonlhdcentre.com;
