I am looking to replace my CVT Honda Jazz, which has been excellent in all respects. I was going to upgrade to the new Jazz as they have now included cruise control, something I wanted in my replacement car, until I test-drove the I-Shift that has replaced the CVT. It was dreadful; jerky and unresponsive. I am now searching for a Jazz size proper automatic with cruise control but am not having much success. Any suggestions.

Maybe a Nissan Note or a Renault Modus. The new Jazz I-Shift is not a press-and-go automatic. It is an automated manual that protects itself from torque reactions during upward changes and that explains the lurches. You can learn to drive it in a non-jerky way.
